The "Cobra" is a two-bladed, tandem seat (front & rear) attack helicopter powered by a single

turbine engine. The "Cobra"  performs anti-armor, air cavalry and armed reconnaissance roles.

It can attack individual targets with its anti-armor and anti-helicopter capabilities.

It also provides fire support and security missions.

The AH-1F "Cobra" helicopter on display was flown by the

Michigan Army National Guard at Grand Ledge Mi. from 1992 to 2001
